International
Business
Bachelor of Arts
The international business program is built upon the objectives of relevance,
coherence, and acquired skill. Frames of reference are vital to any student's
understanding of business. Therefore, the International Business Program
offers the individual threads of business in a holistic and realistic
fashion as it is actually practiced. In many courses, students will learn
experientially on site at business in the community in addition to classroom
lectures and discussion. The men and women who actually do business will
be a vital and exciting part of the educational experience. Therefore,
an understanding of cultures and languages is required of all international
business people. It is expected that students taking the International
Business offerings below will complement these courses with those of other
programs, particularly in the areas of culture and language.
