Campus Facilities and Housing

Youll find that Teikyo Loretto Heights University is a wonderful
place to live as well as to learn. We provide comfortable dormitories,
state-of-the-art technology, a world-class dining hall and a wide range
of amenities on our beautiful campus.

Residence Halls

Student Service provides residential services for TLHU
students. Marian and Walsh and Pan Halls can house 250 residents per hall. Walsh
Hall and Marian Hall are coed by floor. The halls are staffed by Resident
Assistants who provide security, enforce policy, and develop programs
for students living on campus. TLHU has also installed an extensive closed
circuit video surveillance system of public areas to help provide a secure
living environment for students.


Recreational Facilities

Students, faculty,
and staff have a wide variety of recreation and leisure opportunities.
The TLHU Pool/Weight facility has a swimming pool, weight room, sauna,
and Jacuzzi system. Pan Hall has a basketball court on its first floor
which can also be used for aerobic activities and indoor running during
inclement weather. On the front greens on the north end of campus is an
outdoor volleyball court, lighted tennis courts, and a soccer field. The
Student Union offers numerous board games, ping-pong tables and a billiard
and a foosball table, including all necessary equipment.


Food Services

Food service at TLHU
is committed to providing a high-quality food program on campus. Students
who have special requests for food items or preparation should contact
the Food Service Manager. The Food Service Staff is responsive to students'
requests.

Postal Service

Mail service is provided
by a full-service contract U.S. Postal Station on the first floor of the
Administration Building. All students who live on campus are assigned and required to maintain
a postal box on campus. The service includes: postage stamps, money orders,
express mail and outbound letters and packages. The normal hours of operation
are 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Student Technology
Services

TLHU provides all students with:
- E-mail services
- Access to the
Internet (world wide web) 24 hours a day, seven days a week in the residence halls.
- Space on the TLHU
web site for a personal web page
- Access to networked
resources such as printers or shared CD ROMs
- Access to TLHU
Intranet Server
- Shared faculty-student
files for timely and efficient exchange of academic documents such as
handouts and assignments
Campus wide video services include:
- Information channel
for announcements of activities and special programs.
- Two educational
channels provide support for academic programs or general student awareness
or other special videos (e.g., movies discussed in class or videos to
provide additional information on course topics).

Library

With holdings of more than 125,000 volumes, the TLHU library provides
a wide range of learning resources and services to support the undergraduate
academic programs at TLHU. Over 1,000 current periodicals are available
either in hardcopy or on-line and over 10,000 items of microfilm and audio
visual collections supplement the book collection.

The library is also one of the technological hubs of the University. The
Learning Resources Center has 15 computer data ports with direct access
to the Internet. There are two Advanced Technology classrooms with state-
of-the art multimedia presentation capabilities.

The on-line Library Public Access Catalog (PAC) provides access to the
librarys collections and is accessible from the Internet either
on or off campus.

Teikyo Loretto
Heights Theater

The Teikyo Loretto Heights Theater is a 74,000 square foot complex located
at the highest point in Denver.

The proscenium theater
has a very large stage, excellent technical support, and seating for 999
people. Ample free parking is also available.


Our Lady of Loretto
Chapel

Our Lady of Loretto Chapel is an intimate, non-denominational chapel with
seating for up to 200 people.

This beautiful red
sandstone chapel boasts a magnificent pipe organ, grand piano and 23 stained
glass windows. The Chapel is a registered landmark, located at the highest
point in Denver.
