Step 2: Financial Aid
Financial aid is available to those who qualify.
Have you applied for financial aid? You may be eligible. Separate applications are required for scholarships.
TLHU is eligible to participate in the Federal Department of Education Title IV Programs. In addition, TLHU offers a limited amount of institutional funds in the form of Cultural Diversity Grants.
Federal Financial Aid Information about the Federal Department of Education Title IV Programs is available from the Financial Aid Office. Brochures and pamphlets regarding student loan programs include information on specific loan types and payment conditions, the availability of federal grants, and the requirements for loan eligibility. You may be eligible for Federal Pell Grants, Federal Subsidized Stafford Loans, Federal Unsubsidized Stafford Loans or Federal Parent Loans for Students (PLUS).
Step 3: Advising
Once admitted to TLHU, you will be assigned a faculty academic advisor. The advisor will work with you to ensure that your academic goals are clear and achievable, and that you meet the academic requirements necessary for graduation. You will also consult your academic advisor prior to the designated date for registration.
Step 4: Registration
Once your advisor has approved and signed off on your academic goals, you will be allowed to register for classes.
Step 5: Payment
Payment of your tuition and fees may be made to the Business Office by cash, check, Visa, or Mastercard. Arrangements for payment for tuition, fees, and room/board charges must be completed by July 31st for the Fall semester and by November 30th for the Spring semester.
Room and Board In general all students must live on campus while attending all classes including summer semester until they have attended class for a minimum of two calendar-years and achieved a GPA of 2.5. Field study classes are excepted. Transfer students with more than 60 credit hours may apply for an exception. All TLHU students must have a meal plan if residing on-campus. Refer to the Guide to Residence Life for specific policy.

Step 6: Orientation
Upon arriving on campus, you will participate in an orientation program that will focus on adjustment to the TLHU campus. The program includes ESL testing (if appropriate), tours of campus, explanation of campus regulations, social activities with other students, faculty and staff, and other adjustment programs.
Step 7: Books and Supplies
Books and supplies are available online through the University of Denver campus bookstore.
