After we receive the above information, TLHU will send you a letter of acceptance.  You will also need a SEVIS I-20 from TLHU in order to apply for your F-1 visa at the American embassy in your country.  In order to receive your SEVIS I-20, you must ...


● Send TLHU (via post or fax) physical copies of your entire passport, and a notarized bank statement that shows an average of $14,000.  If you have a financial sponsor, the bank statement must be in the sponsor’s name.  The sponsor must write a letter that declares intent to financially support you. 

Once you have received your SEVIS I-20 and letter of acceptance, you should then

 

●  Pay $100 with a credit card for an instant SEVIS I-901 fee receipt.  This is an online transaction that can be completed by anyone anywhere with a credit card at www.ice.gov/graphics/sevis/i901.

●  Print and keep the SEVIS I-901 fee receipt.

●  Obtain and notarize your high school diploma and a bank statement that shows an average of $14,000.  If you have a financial sponsor, the bank statement must be in the sponsor’s name.  The sponsor must write a letter that declares intent to financially support you. 

●  Take your SEVIS I-20, letter of acceptance, SEVIS I-901 fee receipt, high school diploma and bank statement to the American embassy in your country to apply for the F-1 visa.
